Pretending

It's breaking my heart - the relationship, crumbling one little piece at a time, sometimes a bigger one.

All the togetherness that made it worth having.

It seems like it's all but gone now.

This blog? I'm sorry, it started off one thing and has become something else hasn't it? As I try to pretend that things are okay. And they aren't.

  1. But change is inevitable. If your blog reflects your life, it's going to portray change and change itself too, over time.

Sorry about the grief, though. Let it go, sin. Don't hang on to the past, however good it seemed.

  5. So sorry but feel free to share your real feelngs instead of pretendng. That's what is so good about blogging is that you can share you real emotions. And your blogging friends will understand and wish you the best.

  6. Ah sin, I'm sorry things aren't okay.

Our blogs change with us and our lives. They can't stay just as they were because we can't either. And there's nothing wrong with that.

  7. Oh dear Sin so very sorry your hurting. You can blog about anything or nothing at all and we'd still read it!

  8. I can empathize, as I am currently also facing the deterioration of my relationship piece by piece. Half an hour ago a big piece fell. I'm sorry for your pain.

  9. With all due respect, did you really expect a relationship from two people who are cheating on their spouses to last? I'm sorry if that's harsh, but affairs never work out in the end.

  10. I am sorry this is happening sin but you will be OK. Sometimes the end of something opens the door to something even better.

It's your blog so it is natural it would change with you.

  11. sin -- There is no way to ease the hurt, but I do know... I am so sorry.

You do not have to pretend in front of us. You may, however, want to protect your heart through this passage -- and that is entirely reasonable.
